ANATEL has recently released its Act423\/2022 which represents an update on the previous act for Restricted Radiation Devices (former Act n\u00ba 14448, of December 04th, 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a nutshell, here are the modifications established via Act 423\/2022:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Item 9.5 – ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD VARIATION TRANSMITTER-SENSOR – Definition for maximum measurement frequency (220GHz)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inclusion of item “9.7. Body Scanning Emitter-Sensor for Security Application” (76-81 GHz)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Item “11. BROADBAND WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEM FOR LOCAL NETWORKS – Change of conducted limits (W) for EIRP and Inclusion of applications installed inside vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Item “17. SYSTEMS OPERATING IN THE 57-64 GHz BAND” – Inclusion of item 17.3 Interactive motion sensor<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Item “19. SYSTEMS OPERATING IN ULTRA WIDE RADIO FREQUENCY BANDS” – Inclusion of applications installed inside land vehicles and updating of table XIV – operation restriction in the range from 3300 to 3700 MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Including requirements for FEMTOCELLS operating in the next technologies (5G) “21.14. For other technologies and applications, in addition to items 21.1 to 21.10, the certification of femtocells must be guided by the technical requirements for evaluating the conformity of Transceiver for Radio Base Station (Reference 2.4)”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
